The Cabinet Site Manager manages the field execution of cabinet installation from material delivery through completion, ensuring every home is finished safely, on schedule, and within quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cabinet installation activities across assigned job sites, ensuring work stays on schedule and meets production deadlines.
- Coordinate installation schedules and deliveries with builders, superintendents, and subcontractors, communicating delays or site issues promptly.
- Verify cabinets are installed to plan, spec, and manufacturer requirements; inspect workmanship for quality, alignment, and fit.
- Manage installation crews and subcontractors, monitoring productivity, workmanship, and professionalism, and coaching where needed.
- Verify materials arrive complete and undamaged, and coordinate replacements for shortages or incorrect components.
- Serve as the primary field point of contact for builders and trade partners, maintaining strong working relationships.
- Oversee punch-list and warranty work through completion and track recurring quality issues to reduce callbacks and rework.
- Ensure crews follow jobsite safety requirements, PPE use, and OSHA-related standards; address unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain accurate production reports and documentation, including job status, material issues, and photos of field conditions.
- Monitor labor productivity and installation costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and job profitability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, or residential construction site management.
- Proven experience supervising installation crews and subcontractors in the field.
- Strong working knowledge of cabinet installation methods, materials, and manufacturer specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Solid communication and leadership skills; able to build trust with builders, crews, and subs.
- Comfortable managing multiple homes, phases, or communities simultaneously.

Additional Requirements
This position requires the ability to work extended hours in a field environment and perform duties in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle, read and interpret construction plans and specifications, and stand or walk for extended periods of time. The role requires frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing ladders, as well as working at varying heights and navigating active construction sites. Employees must also be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
