The Mechanical Maintenance Technician provides technical troubleshooting support to maintenance and operations teams to restore product flow and serves as a technical resource for craft employees through leadership and training. The role identifies and resolves recurring design, process, and application issues; analyzes equipment and process data to identify, develop, and drive continuous improvement solutions. The position supports short- and long-term outage planning activities; and assists the team with the resolution of VPM issues and items identified through the daily management action register. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician also develop, manage, and implement small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance initiatives while providing process engineering support.
In this role, you will:
Involvement with continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and manufacturing methods.
Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting skills to restore product flow. Work hand in hand with craft employees.
Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.
Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues.
Adhere to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement and other company policies.
Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required.
Integrated role as direct support of the Maintenance Organization.
This position will require the candidate to be flexible with hours, as hours for this role will be dependent on business needs. Generally, M-F 7am-4pm but will require off shift support as needed.
