Shabuya is a fun, all you can enjoy shabu shabu experience. Our prep cooks are critical to controlling the food cost of the restaurant.
Prep cooks share in tips and can expect to earn anywhere from $4 to $6 more dollars per hour. Combined with your hourly rate, that's a potential total of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the day and shifts you work!
Your role, should you choose to accept it, is to prep seafood and vegetables to be used on our self service line. Most of the job duties are cutting vegetables, thawing seafood and to ensure food is rotating properly through the prep coolers. Prep cooks may also be assigned to the soup stations.
