Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Job Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to empowering individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities, autism, or those facing challenges related to addiction. This role is essential in fostering personal and professional growth through mentoring, training, and support. The Coach will work closely with clients to help them navigate their unique circumstances and achieve their employment goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized coaching and support to clients at their place of employment.
- Develop and implement tailored training programs that focus on workforce development and personal growth.
- Mentor clients in various life skills, including job readiness, social skills, and self-advocacy.
- Educate clients about employment labor laws and their rights within the workplace.
- Collaborate with community resources to provide comprehensive support services.
- Conduct regular assessments of client progress and adjust coaching strategies as needed.
- Have a caseload of clients you are responsible for.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Background in workforce development or social work is preferred.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Proficiency in training development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must have at least 1 year of professional experience working with those that experience a disability or 1 year experience in social services.
- Must pass a background check
- Understand and can use basic computer applications, email and learn documentation systems.
- Valid drivers License
- Reliable internet access required

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
