Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have less than one year of experience, be enthusiastic about working with children, and eager to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to pediatric clients
- Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Conduct therapy sessions and activities in individual or group settings
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Minimum one year of professional experience required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for working with children and families
