Job opening for Gardening and Landscape Maintenance Driver/Crew Chief position with established Landscape company in Austin. Company has been around for 30+ years and works on high end residential landscape installs and maintenance. Ideally you will have at least three years professional experience gardening and leading a crew.
Experience required:
# crew and time management
# general plant knowledge - especially with Native Plants
# pruning, plant care etc.
# irrigation experience, esp repair or troubleshoot
# knowledge of weed and pest identification and control
# ability to speak some Spanish... fluency is not necessary
To be considered for this job you should have the following.
# valid Texas driver's license
# you must have a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD and be insurable
# be able to pull and back trailers.
# must be willing to get dirty - there is a good deal of manual labor and sweating involved in this job.
# must have knowledge of basic lawn equipment
# minimum 3 years gardening experience
This is a full time position. Must be able to work Mon-Fri 7:30 to 4pm/5pm
