Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatrics
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center – Lebanon, NH
Dartmouth Health’s Department of Orthopaedics is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) to work at our academic medical center in Lebanon, NH and associated local satellite locations. This APP will work within the clinic with a primary focus on pediatrics . In this role, you will assist with pre and postoperative education and ongoing support, perform history and physical examinations, and initiate appropriate diagnostic tests to evaluate the patient's condition.
This is a full-time position, no overnight or weekend responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate appropriate diagnostic tests to evaluate the patient's condition
- Assess the findings and history, review of systems, physical examination and diagnostic tests
- Develop implements and manages therapeutic treatment regimens in collaboration with our Orthopedists
- Perform complete history and physical examinations
- Provide pre and postoperative education and ongoing support to Orthopaedic patients
Promote teamwork and patient centered care

Requirements:
- BLS certification
- Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a PA or APRN in NH
- Successful completion of an approved PA/APRN program
National specialty certification as FNP or PNP, or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
