Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food and beverage team. As a vital member of our hospitality crew, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Your role is to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued, creating memorable dining moments in a lively, upscale environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly to uphold excellent customer service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling and suggestive selling to maximize revenue
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience working in nightclub or hospitality settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills to foster guest relations and team collaboration
