Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal or Attorney with over five years of dedicated legal practice to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex bankruptcy cases, providing essential support in all phases of bankruptcy proceedings. Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of bankruptcy case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court procedures.
- Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, schedules, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Utilize legal case management systems like Best Case and My Case to organize case information efficiently.
- Interview clients to gather relevant information for case development while maintaining professional communication standards.
- Assist attorneys with procedural law knowledge, document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entry tasks.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and ensuring timely filings in compliance with court rules.
Requirements
- Over five years of paralegal or attorney experience specializing in bankruptcy law or related fields.
- Strong familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Proficiency in legal administrative experience including document management systems (i.e. My Case).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence clearly and professionally.
- Prior experience supporting various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, general & commercial litigation, contracts, securities law, immigration law, patent law, tribal regulations, landlord-tenant law, family law, UCC law, and more is highly desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
