Schedule: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday approximately 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Overview
Join the Riverside Marina Bar & Grill team as a Food Runner and become an important part of our fast-paced, fun, riverfront restaurant. This position is a key link between the kitchen, servers, and our guests, helping make sure food is delivered quickly, accurately, and with a friendly attitude.
Riverside Marina is a casual waterfront bar and grill located on the Ohio River, serving boaters, families, and guests arriving by both boat and car. This is a great entry-level restaurant job for someone who is reliable, energetic, and comfortable working in a busy service atmosphere.
No restaurant experience is necessary — we will train the right person.
Responsibilities
Food Runner duties include:
- Deliver food trays from the kitchen to guests in the restaurant, bar, patio, deck, and marina dining areas.
- Safely carry trays with multiple meals and distribute food to the correct customers.
- Check food orders before delivery to help make sure items are complete and accurate.
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about missing items, special requests, or guest needs.
- Assist servers during busy service times by helping run food and support guest service.
- Help keep food running areas, service stations, and dining areas clean, stocked, and organized.
- Clear dishes and assist with light table cleanup when needed.
- Support large parties, special events, and busy weekend service.
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service in a casual marina restaurant setting.
- Follow basic food safety, cleanliness, and safe lifting practices.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for applicants who are:
- At least 16 years old.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work scheduled shifts.
- Friendly, positive, and comfortable around guests.
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Able to safely carry food trays with meals.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Good at communicating with servers, kitchen staff, and customers.
- Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed.
Previous restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
