Detailed Job Duties
As a Yard Technician, you will be responsible for completing a scheduled route of residential customers throughout Northern Kentucky using a company-provided vehicle.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Removing pet waste from residential properties according to company standards
- Driving a company vehicle between customer locations
- Following assigned routes and schedules using company software
- Opening and securely closing customer gates
- Inspecting yards to ensure all pet waste has been removed
- Taking service photos when required
- Cleaning and sanitizing tools and equipment
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle
- Reporting service issues, customer concerns, or property hazards
- Providing friendly and professional customer service when interacting with clients
- Working safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from our Florence, KY reporting location
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to walk several miles per day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable handling and removing pet waste
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping, lawn care, delivery driving, construction, pet care, or similar outdoor work
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience working independently or managing daily routes
No prior pooper scooping experience is required. Paid training will be provided.

Location
This position is based out of Florence, Kentucky.
Employees will report to the Florence area at the start of their workday and will use a company vehicle to travel throughout Northern Kentucky, servicing customers in communities such as Florence, Union, Burlington, Hebron, Erlanger, Independence, Covington, Fort Thomas, and surrounding areas.
Applicants should live within commuting distance of Florence, KY and be able to reliably arrive at the designated meeting location each workday.
Schedule
- Monday: 4-6 hours
- Wednesday: 4-6 hours
- Thursday: 4-6 hours
- Friday: 4-6 hours
Typical weekly hours range from 16-25 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as customer demand increases.
