Job Overview
Looking for a motivated assistant in the project management field for construction (construction experience not required but preferred). Full time M-F between 8:30 and 5:00 PM. Must be able to do or perform light handyman tasks as well.
Duties
- Schedule and coordinate residential and commercial jobs.
- Speak with vendors and sub contractors to schedule jobs as dictated by work progress on construction projects.
- Perform basic office operations (Word, excel, zoom, project management software preferred)
- Track project progress and make reports daily of all pending projects
- Meet on-site to coordinate with sub contractors and make sure progress and performance is executed at adequate level.
- Monitor project timelines and assist with project scheduling adjustments to mitigate delays or conflicts.
- Make and execute bids and estimates.
Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish necessary)
- Experience with construction (preferred)
- Word/Excel experience (at least knowledge of how to use both softwares)
- Understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Good time management skills
- Basic handyman capabilities
- Effective communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and vendors.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
