NeuLife Rehabilitation of Kentucky provides post-acute rehabilitation and residential services for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), Spinal Cord Injuries, and other neurological disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Life Skills Technician to join our team and help individuals achieve greater independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting
- Safely lift, transfer, position, and transport clients according to their needs and care plans
- Take and document vital signs, client care, and personal interactions
- Respond promptly to client requests and call lights
- Support clients in rehabilitation, recreational, and community-based activities
- Follow NeuLife safety policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Assist with emergency situations and evacuations when required
- Provide exceptional customer service and compassionate care
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license required
- Caregiving, healthcare, TBI, or direct support experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening
- Ability to lift, transfer, and physically assist individuals as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced rehabilitation and residential environment
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Day, night, and weekend shifts available.
- Opportunities for overtime and additional hours
