Mathews Counseling, PLLC is currently looking for a part-time therapist who is available to see clients in the evenings and weekends.
We are looking for passionate, motivated, and dedicated people to join our growing group practice at our Durham, and/or Cary, NC location(s). The therapist must have a commitment to excellent client care with an ability to work independently as needed.
We are dedicated to both the personal and professional growth of our therapists and strive to create a supportive atmosphere where you can pursue your goals. Therapists will receive referrals once hired but are also encouraged to build and utilize their own referral base, if desired.
General responsibilities include client counseling, treatment planning, and record maintenance. Weekly team meetings and monthly one-on-ones with supervisors are also available for additional support and are compensated.
Mathews Counseling provides competitive pay, full administrative support, in-house CEUs, and licensure supervision for provisionally licensed associates.
This is a hybrid position (both in-person and virtual).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related mental health field.
- Must be licensed or provisionally licensed to practice counseling in the state of North Carolina.
- Strongly Preferred: Experience conducting therapy in a private or group practice setting.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
