Overview: We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating manual machines and producing high-quality parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings - Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders - Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of dimensions - Perform machining operations such as drilling, turning, and milling - Inspect finished parts for quality and make necessary adjustments - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles - Experience working with plastics injection molding is preferred - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools - Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
