THE ROLE:
- Develop and execute sales growth strategy across the Eastern United States, identifying and converting opportunities within restaurant supply, foodservice distribution, grocery, packaging, and national account channels.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, purchasing groups, and end customers while creating new opportunities through prospecting, account development, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
- Own the sales process from lead generation through onboarding and account growth, working closely with manufacturing and leadership teams to align customer demand with production capability.
- Act as a commercial ambassador for the business - communicating the value proposition of plant-based packaging solutions while helping shape go-to-market strategy, customer feedback loops, and future product direction.
THE PERSON:
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, National Account Manager, Packaging Sales Manager, Foodservice Sales Manager, Distributor Sales Manager, or similar commercial role.
- Proven experience selling into food packaging, restaurant supply, foodservice distribution, CPG, manufacturing, grocery, paper, plastics, or adjacent industrial sectors.
- Existing industry relationships and a strong understanding of distributor networks, procurement processes, and how products move through foodservice and retail channels.
- Entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and excited by joining an early-stage growth business with high earning potential, long-term upside, and the opportunity to help build something meaningful.
