Registered Respiratory Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in,. This is a permanent position offering a Monday through Friday schedule, providing consistent and predictable work hours. The role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients, supporting their recovery and well-being. A sign-on bonus of $12,000 is available for qualified candidates who join our team. Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' respiratory conditions through detailed evaluations and diagnostic tests.
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosolized medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring safety and proper functioning at all times.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatment procedures, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention, providing critical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Proven experience in a clinical setting delivering respiratory care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work during standard weekday hours (Monday to Friday).
