Job Summary
We are looking for a Batter Unit Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our batter production unit.
The person will be responsible for managing the production floor, supervising employees, assigning daily work, ensuring SOPs are followed, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and ensuring production targets are achieved on time.
The candidate should be hands-on and capable of managing employees effectively while maintaining smooth and efficient batter unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Batter Unit.
- Plan and coordinate daily batter production as per requirements.
- Assign work to employees and monitor their performance throughout the shift.
- Ensure employees follow all approved SOPs and production procedures.
- Monitor the complete batter production process, including:
- Raw material preparation
- Cleaning and washing
- Soaking
- Grinding
- Mixing
- Fermentation
- Packing
- Storage
- Ensure proper measurements and production processes are followed.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of batter during production.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation throughout the Batter Unit.
- Ensure employees follow food safety, personal hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished batter.
- Monitor production quantities and ensure daily targets are completed on time.
- Maintain daily production, manpower, wastage, and other required records.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse and other departments for raw materials and packaging requirements.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action promptly.
- Report equipment, quality, manpower, or operational issues to management.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of machines and the production area.
- Train and guide employees on SOPs, hygiene, safety, and production procedures.
- Maintain discipline and ensure employees remain productive during working hours.
- Ensure the Batter Unit is ready for production and properly closed down after operations.
- Support management in improving production efficiency and reducing wastage.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
