Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of dedicated experience in payroll processing, accounting, or human resources.
- Payroll Software: Proficiency with Paycor/Paychex or similar payroll platforms.
- Time & Attendance: Experience with digital timekeeping tracking systems and syncing them with payroll software.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal tax laws, as well as wage and hour regulations (FLSA). Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus.
- Solid grasp of payroll deductions, including benefits (health insurance, 401k), garnishments, taxes, and voluntary deductions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- High level of integrity and a proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources is highly preferred.
Compensation: $20-$25/hour, DOE
