Position Summary
Premier Boat Sales & Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our growing service team in Branson West. This position is for someone with mechanical experience who wants to work hands-on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of boats and marine systems. Our technicians work alongside experienced professionals while delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on boats and marine systems
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fuel filters, drive service, and winterizations
- Install and service marine electronics, pumps, and accessory systems
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshooting
- Perform engine diagnostics and repairs
- Water test boats to ensure proper operation after service
- Assist with boat rigging and setup when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support yard operations when needed (moving boats, trailers, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Location & Commitments
- Full-Time, 5-day work week
- On occasion, you may be required to work additional days
- Schedule work week may change based on seasonality and staffing needs

Skills
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for service documentation
- Knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and boat components
- Ability to follow service procedures and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to operate and navigate single and twin-engine boats
- Must be able to haul, launch, and secure boats/trailers safely and efficiently
- Marine service or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor marina environments
- Must be able to pass Missouri boater safety requirement (if applicable)
