NSC Staffing is hiring experienced Electrical Project Managers for large-scale Data Center construction projects in Georgia and Texas.
We are seeking experienced electrical construction professionals who can lead complex, mission-critical projects from preconstruction through completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
PAY: MARKET RATE + PER DIEM + $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS
TRAVEL SCHEDULE: 11 on & 3 off
JOB DETAILS:
- Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more Data Center electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.
- Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
- Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
- Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.
- Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
- Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project related quotes.
- Works closely with the Project Executive to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
- Experience managing electrical projects.
- Data Center experience is required.
- Hyperscale Data Center experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with mission-critical, ground-up construction and remodeling projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrical License strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls.
- Strong understanding of project billing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Established knowledge of electrical construction vendors and industry resources.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with construction/project management software
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage project financials, billing, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Review project schedules and track progress against established milestones.
- Perform electrical takeoffs and prepare pricing for change orders and project-related quotes.
- Work closely with Project Executives to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting.
- Represent the company at project meetings and assist with labor and strategy meetings.
- Ensure all work complies with the NEC, OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and project specifications.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to the project team.
- Perform other project management duties as required.
