American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Stepdown position requiring 18 months of recent Stepdown experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Work in the HVTI-Stepdown unit of a hospital environment
-
Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
-
Day and night rotating shifts on a 3x12 hour schedule (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30)

Shifts may vary or rotate to meet operational needs of the hospital

Required to work at least every other holiday

Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location

Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience, travel experience accepted

PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both

Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
