The Trainer is responsible for providing orientation instruction, hands-on floor and/or classroom training. Trainers will be assigned to an individual department.
- Responsible for training employees on all functional aspects of their position.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) for effective interaction with all levels of company personnel and external customers.
- Must be able to promote a team effort to achieve common goals, as well as give and receive constructive feedback.
- Must be able to lead classroom discussion and answer follow up questions.
- Excellent attendance record is required.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills are essential.
- Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to food allergens, dust and varying temperatures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs continuously.
- Walk and stand for extended for entire shift (8-10 hours) Ability to present information clearly and concisely to an associate or group.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines while being detail oriented.
- Must be flexible with regard to schedule and job assignments. Hours and days may change based on production needs and overtime may be required in the fall months.
- Honest and respectful communication.
- Compliance with company attendance standards.
- This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
