Position Summary
As a Vinyl Graphics Installer / Production Assistant, you will install and produce a variety of custom signage, vinyl, wall and window graphics, as well as printed materials. This is primarily a hands-on installation position, with general production and finishing duties when installation work is not scheduled.
This is a physical vinyl application and sign installation position—not primarily a computer graphic design position. Candidates with strong installation skills, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn will have opportunities for advancement.
PAY BASED UPON EXPERIENCE
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Installation
- Installation and strike of vinyl graphics on wall, window, vehicles, floor vinyl, and small signage while ensuring proper alignment, positioning, trimming, and finishing
- Troubleshoot installation and strike issues and find practical solutions
Production & Finishing
When not installing, assist with:
- Printing, cutting, laminating, mounting, trimming, weeding, finishing, and packing graphics
- Producing signs, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, window decals, and floor vinyl.
- Quality control throughout production and installation
- Attending daily duties as directed by the Production Manager
Safety & Quality
- Complete projects efficiently, on time, and to customer specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Keep work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Sign installation or vinyl application experience preferred
- Experience with vehicle wraps, wall graphics, window graphics, or dimensional signage and large format printers are a plus
- Familiarity with vinyl, aluminum, wood, acrylic, and other substrates
- Ability to read and interpret work orders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work for extended periods
- Perform physically demanding installation work, including work at heights when required
- Work in warehouse, production, outdoor, and customer-site environments
- Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Moderate to loud noise levels
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance
