We are seeking a skilled Certified Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture and specimen collection processing with precision and care. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate laboratory testing and providing exceptional patient service.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all ages
- Collect, label, and process specimens following aseptic techniques
- Ensure proper patient identification and specimen integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the laboratory
- Provide patient care and comfort during the phlebotomy process
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to locate veins for blood draws
**Qualifications:**
- Certification as a Phlebotomist
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and specimen collection processing
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on quality care
- Ability to phlebotomize patients with varying needs and conditions
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing and handling
