Our Unit Secretary will:

Be responsible for performing administrative tasks for the nursing unit- including filing and organizing patient records/charts, managing inventory of office and medical supplies for the nursing unit, screening calls and visitors, answering inquires, and ensuring the delivery of mail and messages in a prompt and courteous manner

Perform hands on tasks involving patients, such as transporting patients, delivering specimens to the lab, and assisting with delivering meal trays to patients

Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to meet the needs of patients and optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

Provide excellent customer service

Passion for Healthcare
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Previous clerical and customer service skills necessary

Basic computer skills
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Posted Salary Range: USD $22.57 - USD $33.86 /Hr. :
