gb&d is a Chicago-based B2B media company covering sustainable design and construction for an audience of 86,000+ architects, owners, and developers.
We're hiring a Brand Partnerships Manager to build long-term relationships with leading building product manufacturers and develop the custom editorial programs — magazine features, video, digital campaigns — that bring their stories to our audience.
This is a client-facing, partnership-driving role. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice that marketing leaders turn to when they want to tell better stories to a real, engaged industry audience. We'll give you warm leads, a senior partnerships lead to learn from, and a clear path to grow.
What you'll do
- Identify and research building product manufacturers as potential partners
- Run outbound email and LinkedIn outreach (we'll teach you our approach)
- Take discovery calls and learn what each brand is trying to accomplish
- Develop and pitch custom content partnerships built around our editorial formats
- Build proposals, walk partners through them, and bring partnerships to close
- Stay close to partners through production and into renewal conversations
You're probably a fit if
- You have 3–5 years of experience in PR, media partnerships, agency client services, or B2B sales
- You're a strong, friendly communicator, people remember talking to you
- You write a clean, concise email
- You're curious, organized, and you actually follow up
