School Counselor - Intermediate/Middle Level Grades 4-8
Brandywine Heights Area School District is seeking a highly motivated, student-centered School Counselor (Grades 4–8) to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with students, families, school staff, and community agencies to support students' social-emotional well-being, academic success, and career awareness and development. We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Qualifications

Valid Pennsylvania School Counselor (PreK–12) Certification required.

Demonstrated commitment to meeting the academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs of students.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Salary
Brandywine Heights Area School District offers a competitive salary based on experience, education, and certification in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
2026–2027 Starting Salaries (Step 1)
Master's Degree: $61,551
Master's + 12 Credits: $63,100
Master's + 30 Credits: $65,319
Master's + 60 Credits: $68,079
