Verticomm/ACP is seeking a motivated Business Technology Consultant (BTC) to identify, prospect, and acquire new clients. In this role, you'll work with business leaders to uncover challenges, recommend technology solutions, and deliver outcomes that improve productivity, security, and business performance.
This is a consultative, hunter-focused sales role centered on prospecting, building pipeline, developing relationships, and closing new business. Successful BTCs are proactive, self-motivated professionals who thrive on creating opportunities and driving growth.

What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
- Generate net-new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, social selling, and community involvement.
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
- Conduct discovery meetings to identify business challenges and technology needs.
- Develop and present customized technology recommendations and proposals.
- Collaborate with technical specialists to design effective client solutions.
- Manage opportunities from prospecting through implementation.
- Consistently achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and sales activity.
- Stay current on technology trends and industry developments.

- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling Managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, telecommunications, SaaS, or related technology solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and modern workplace solutions.
- Experience conducting business assessments and presenting executive-level recommendations.

- Total compensation potential of $80,000 to $175,000+
