American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency, with night shift availability and a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.

Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting, with a primarily Medical/Surgical patient population
-
Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general med/surg, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed

Floating across facilities may be required

Epic EMR experience is mandatory

Active NC or compact RN license required

BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

A driver's license is required for consideration

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed; no study materials will be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance

Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
