American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Neurosciences (8C Neuro) position in Peoria, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and an IL RN license.

Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Inpatient Neuro (Med/Surg Neurosciences) unit in a hospital setting
-
Weekend shifts on a rotation basis
-
Holiday shifts on a rotation basis

Floating may be required to other facilities within the Carle Health system

Epic EMR — experience required
-
Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience

ASN required; BSN preferred
-
Epic charting experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at any Carle Health location for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning

Core nursing responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation and modification of individualized care plans, documentation, and patient/employee safety reporting
