Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new clients and expand existing accounts within the aggregate and gravel markets
- Identify potential customers through market research, networking, and industry events to generate new business opportunities
- Present product offerings, technical specifications, and value propositions clearly to clients, addressing their specific project needs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable sales agreements while maintaining excellent customer relationships
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and meet customer expectations
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM tools or other tracking systems
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to adapt sales strategies effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales within the aggregate, construction materials, or related industries is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of aggregate products such as crushed stone, gravel, sand, and related materials
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and persuasively present product benefits
- Self-motivated with a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to reaching sales targets
- Ability to analyze market data and customer needs to develop tailored solutions that drive sales growth
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Knowledge of CRM software or other sales tracking tools is a plus
