HR Coordinator – Bilingual English/Spanish

Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual HR Coordinator to join a busy Human Resources team supporting a fast-paced, multi-shift manufacturing environment. This position will assist with recruiting, onboarding, temporary staffing, employee support, HR administration, employee engagement, and compliance.
The ideal candidate has prior HR experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and enjoys working directly with employees, managers, and staffing partners. Experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, or another multi-shift environment is highly desirable.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing coordination, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies regarding staffing needs, candidate submissions, employee start dates, assignment changes, and other workforce requirements.
- Review and coordinate weekly temporary employee timecards.
- Prepare offer letters, confidentiality agreements, background checks, and new hire documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files, HRIS records, and time and attendance information.
- Coordinate employee ID/security badges and company uniform programs.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, paid time off, company policies, and HR procedures.
- Provide HR support to employees across multiple shifts.
- Conduct exit interviews and communicate relevant feedback to the Human Resources Manager.
- Assist with employee engagement and recognition programs, service awards, company events, and employee communications.
- Support training, workplace safety initiatives, and other HR programs.
- Review and process HR-related invoices.
- Work closely with HR team members, supervisors, managers, employees, vendors, and staffing agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Assist with HR compliance, administrative projects, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 1–2+ years of Human Resources experience required or strongly preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, or another multi-shift environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, temporary staffing, employee engagement, and general HR administration preferred.
- Experience working with temporary staffing agencies is a plus.
- Fluent bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong employee service and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS and/or time and attendance systems.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- HR certification is a plus but not required.

Experience supporting an hourly workforce in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment is especially valuable.
