A well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical operations for its Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician leader who enjoys quality improvement, provider development, value-based care, and strategic leadership while maintaining a limited clinical workload.
This role is approximately 80% administrative and 20% clinical, allowing you to focus on improving care delivery, supporting providers, and driving outcomes for a medically complex senior population.

What You'll Do
- Provide medical oversight for a growing PACE program
- Lead quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives
- Develop and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and medical policies
- Oversee utilization management, hospitalizations, specialty referrals, and post-acute care services
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate employed providers
- Partner with operational, compliance, quality, and executive leadership teams
- Support regulatory readiness and interdisciplinary care delivery
What You'll Bring
- MD or DO
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Kentucky medical license or ability to obtain
- DEA registration
- Minimum 1 year caring for frail elderly populations
- At least 3 years of physician leadership or administrative experience
- Experience with quality management, utilization review, peer review, credentialing, and performance improvement
- PACE, geriatrics, Medicare Advantage, managed care, SNF, or value-based care experience preferred
