Responsibilities
- Perform routine turf management including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to promote healthy grass growth.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, weed control, and pest management to uphold course aesthetics.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, ground leveling, and debris removal to keep pathways and playing areas clear.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper equipment maintenance procedures.
- Assist with seasonal preparations and ongoing groundskeeping projects to ensure the course remains in top condition year-round.
Requirements
- Prior experience in golf course groundskeeping or athletic field groundskeeping is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and company vehicles responsibly.
- Strong manual handling skills with physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with power tool safety practices and equipment maintenance routines.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to landscaping and gardening tasks.
- Valid driver’s license or ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
