Position Title: Part-Time Dish Polisher

Position Summary
Spring by China Mama is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Dish Polisher to support our front-of-house operations. This position focuses on ensuring all guest-facing glassware, silverware, and plateware are polished, spotless, and presentation-ready. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high standards and helping create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Schedule
- Part-Time Position
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Evenings
- Availability during dinner service and closing hours required
Responsibilities
- Polish and inspect glassware, silverware, and plateware to ensure they are spotless and guest-ready.
- Remove water spots, fingerprints, and residue from service items.
- Organize and stock polished items in designated front-of-house storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of polishing stations and storage areas.
- Assist with setting up and replenishing service ware during busy service periods.
- Inspect items for chips, cracks, or damage and report concerns to management.
- Follow all restaurant sanitation and food safety standards.
- Support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service operations.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekend evening shifts consistently.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
