What you'll do (Phase 1 — pre-license, about 3 months) Review and provide written sign-off on our draft Policies & Procedures Manual for conformance with Georgia PHCP regulations. Review and approve our draft Caregiver Orientation Curriculum and Competency Checklist. Sign a Statement of No Misconduct (standard Georgia form — we provide it) and a license-use authorization for the agency’s license application. Complete a GCHEXS criminal background check (online registration + a single in-person fingerprinting visit; the agency reimburses the fee). Respond to inquiries from the Department of Community Health, our licensing consultant, and the agency’s Administrator within reasonable timeframes. Attend one monthly 30-minute status meeting (Zoom or in person — your choice). What you'll need Active, unencumbered Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license (current Georgia RN license number required on application; license expiration date). No misconduct or active discipline with the Georgia Board of Nursing. Willingness to pass a GCHEXS criminal background check (no felonies, no abuse-related offenses). Reliable email + phone availability for routine responses (we use a clearly defined response-time policy — 24 hours for urgent matters, 1–2 business days for routine). Eligibility to work in the United States. Professional, honest, and reliable communication. Nice to have (but not required) Clinical rotations in home health, hospice, geriatrics, community health, or rehab during nursing school. Prior healthcare experience as an LPN, CNA, medical assistant, or scribe. Bilingual (Spanish, Bengali, Vietnamese, or other commonly spoken in metro Atlanta). Working toward a BSN, MSN, or other advanced credential. Compensation — be transparent so we don't waste each other's time Phase 1 (Pre-License, about 3 months): $400 per month + $300 one-time completion bonus on license issuance. Paid by direct deposit, semi-monthly ($200 on the 15th and $200 on the last business day of each month). $300 completion bonus paid as a single lump sum within 7 business days after the Georgia DCH issues our PHCP license. W-2 employment status — taxes withheld, mileage reimbursed at IRS rate for any pre-approved travel beyond a 20-mile radius. Phase 2 (Post-License): Compensation will be re-negotiated as a separate written addendum prior to license issuance. We expect Phase 2 will offer expanded hours and higher rates for the right candidate. What this role is NOT Not bedside nursing. Not direct patient care. Not on-call coverage. Not full-time.
