PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Provide general support for the manufacture of canned motor seal-less pumps. This individual will work closely with the Production Control Planner, Lead Machinist, and Front-End Lead to ensure materials are allocated, issued, physically picked and received via transactions via the Company’s ERP system.
PRIMARY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Production management to include but not limited to
- Coordination with Production Control Planner to track job materials
- Material issue for production jobs
- Material receipt from production job to inventory-job completion
- Material receipt- transfer and purchase order
- Inventory control -cycle counting and year end activities
Shipping and Receiving
- Part and pump packaging-supporting role
- Picks, stages, and prepare pumps and parts for shipment.
- Inventory receipt and shipment of internal company transfer and external customer demand
- Ensuring documentation is provided for shipment and receipt
- Providing material invoice to accounting
On site expert using ERP (EPICOR) to process material demands, follow up late orders, track missing orders, scan and receive invoices, and material certifications.
Supports product delivery by ensuring Final Product Inspection Reports are entered into ERP.
Supports shipping and receiving activities by picking in-stock parts for shipment, assisting with shipping crate assembly and product packaging, and receiving incoming parts and materials.
Supports shop operations by reporting completed jobs, issuing materials to active jobs, transferring completed components into inventory, assisting with cycle counting activities, and tracking traceable and consignment parts.
Provides general office support to the Production Control Planner; answers telephones and relays messages, files reports, orders and receives office and shop supplies, and assists with inventory control and maintaining accurate quantity-on-hand values.
Participate actively in continuous process improvement activities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or GED required, associate’s degree a plus
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
- Capable of working effectively in urgent situations
- Well organized
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- A working knowledge of an ERP system, Microsoft Office products, and data entry skills is required.
- Experience with inventory and related processes to include shipping and receiving
- Experience in a manufacturing production environment

Pay: $20.09 - $25.00 per hour
