Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will network/build relationships with clients to identify their needs and sell Preventative Maintenance Agreements to new customers. Additional sales opportunities for products and services offered by Kraft Mechanical will occur periodically, as well engaging current service customers to sell Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Identifies potential service opportunities with new customers. Responsible for targeting prospects and qualifying Preventative Maintenance Agreement opportunities
- Converts leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process
- Develops multiple relationships with buying influencers in the customer’s organization, including facility manager, project managers, project engineers, property managers, owners, brokers and purchasing agents.
- Conduct site visits or walk throughs as required to assist with estimates
- Prepare estimates and proposals for customers on new Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
- Presents the proposal and negotiates price, terms, and conditions with customer.
- Assists customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Energy Efficient Products, and relevant industry issues
- Support marketing efforts by participating in select trade shows or marketing events
- Grow customer base and volume of service customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to perform duties effectively:

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing or related field, OR Comparable record of sales service leadership experience required.
- At least three years of sales service experience required, highly preferred to inlcude the St. Cloud area.
In addition to base pay, a commission plan is included.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
