We build custom and spec homes on the Texas Gulf Coast & Southeast Texas area: Bolivar Peninsula, Southeast Texas, and Galveston Island, . Coastal homes built to last, with the kind of craftsmanship and personal service that gets us referred from one family to the next.
We're growing, and we need a project manager/superintendent who can run a jobsite to our standard.
The Role
You'll run our builds in the field. That means owning the schedule, the budget, and the trades on each project from ground break to walkthrough. You keep the job on time and on budget, you hold subs accountable to our quality, and you catch problems before they become expensive.
You'll also be the face of Prestige on-site, so you can talk to a high-end client without the owner standing next to you.
This is a hands-on field role. You're on the jobsite, not behind a desk. Based out of Beaumont or Crystal Beach, moving between active projects in both locations.
What you'll own
- Schedule and sequencing. Plan the build, sequence the trades, and keep every project moving toward its date.
- Budget and cost control. Track project costs against the bid and protect the margin on every job.
- Change orders. Price and document changes before the work starts. No verbal deals, no surprises at invoice time.
- Sub and crew management. Hold subcontractors to our quality and schedule. Spot-check framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC as the work goes in.
- Code and permitting. Keep every build compliant with local codes and windstorm requirements.
- Client communication. Keep clients informed and confident, and represent Prestige the way the owner would.
- Daily logs and documentation. Keep clean records in Buildertrend: schedules, change orders, daily logs.
What we're looking for
- Coastal or custom residential experience. You've built or worked on custom homes, spec homes, remodels, or elevated coastal builds. Time spent framing, finishing, or running a trade on the coast counts here as much as time carrying the PM title.
- Field and sub management. You know how a jobsite runs, whether you've managed one yourself or spent years building on one. You can sequence trades and hold subs accountable, or you're a strong lead ready to step up into it. This is the day-to-day job.
- Documentation discipline. You're comfortable in Buildertrend or comparable software, and you'll actually log change orders, schedules, and daily reports.
- Cost and change-order rigor. You price and log changes before work begins, and you protect margin while you do it.
- Communication and polish. Clear in writing and in person. You can carry a client relationship on a high-end build.
- High standards, low ego. You take direction, you pick things up fast, and you want to learn how we build. Dependable, and steady enough to represent the company to our standard.
- Local and committed. Within reach of the coast and here to stay. You appreciate a small community atmosphere and you don't undercut the people you work with.
What you get
Competitive pay, paid time off, and a real seat with a growing custom builder. You'll run jobs that you can drive past in ten years and be proud of. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us for the long haul.
