Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral interventions for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing data-driven analysis. Duties
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians, caregivers, and family members on behavioral techniques and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education professionals, medical providers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral health records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct home-based behavioral therapy sessions and support families in implementing intervention plans within natural environments.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, and functional assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection methods, medical terminology, and medical records management.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Experience providing home-based behavioral therapy and supporting neurodiverse individuals across various settings.
