Thermo King Central Virginia has an immediate opening for Service Department Service Writer for our Ashland VA location.
Job Description
- Handle all duties assigned to Service Writer Position.
- Receive customer equipment issues over phone and counter and address timely and professionally.
- Open work orders completely with all customer and equipment information including work to be performed.
- Track work order status through completion and keep customer informed of updates on status of repair.
- Validate warranty on equipment and track warranty work order status.
- Keep detailed reports on Excel when needed on service department data.
- Work with Shop Foreman on dispatching and issuing of all jobs to be completed.
