Oakview Market is looking for a friendly, dependable Store Associate to help create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer. This role is responsible for customer service, checkout operations, stocking merchandise, inventory management, store cleanliness, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store.
What You'll Do
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service and create a welcoming environment.
- Operate the POS system and process customer transactions accurately.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and displays while maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Reorder merchandise and store supplies as needed to keep the store fully stocked.
- Receive, organize, and rotate deliveries using FIFO inventory practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, including daily cleaning and monthly deep cleaning.
- Assist with opening, closing, and other daily store operations.
- Work as part of a team to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
