Employment opportunity for a Class A cdl driver to haul locally in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities and description
- No logbooks
- Home every night
- Transport goods and raw materials locally
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
Skills
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Valid truck driving license with tanker endorsement
- Experience with Dump trucks a plus
