Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and bathrooms using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Handle various janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Operate floor buffers and other floor care machinery to maintain polished, safe flooring throughout the facility.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as needed in storage areas or maintenance spaces to ensure a tidy environment.
- Handle chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for storage, usage, and disposal during cleaning procedures.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to support overall facility upkeep.
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in residential or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience operating floor buffers and performing floor care is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
