Italian Village Restaurants is hiring a Busser to join our Front of House team at The Village. We are looking for a busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas. Busser responsibilities are dining room cleaning, clearing, setting tables, stocking silverware and plateware, stocking linen, and removing trash as well as attending to the needs of our guests. Duties & Responsibilities
● Greet guests with open arms and a smile
● Prepare dining areas before guests are seated (setting, clearing, resetting, sweeping, cleaning, etc.)
● Place condiments (salt, pepper, etc.) on tables as guests request
● Serve and pour water
● Serve bread and olive oil at appropriate time
● Refill nonalcoholic beverages, as needed
● Clear dirty utensils, plateware, and glassware from tables with speed, balance, and precision
● Unload dirty bus tubs and help sort plates and silverware for dishwasher
● Communicate and coordinate with servers to help create magic moments for our guests
● Follow all hygiene, health code, and safety regulations in all areas of the restaurant
Qualifications
● Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or another entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus, but we are always willing to train candidates with the right attitude
● Ability to follow verbal instructions well and accept constructive feedback on job performance
● Ability to get along with others - pleasant personality and neat, clean appearance
● At least 18 years of age and legally allowed to work in the United States
● Willingness to work flexible and irregular hours
● Willingness to work nights and weekends regularly
● Willingness to follow hygiene and food safety rules
● Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
● Ability to lift and carry up to ~30 pounds frequently while moving across dining room
● Ability to go up and down up to 3 flights of stairs as needed to perform tasks
● Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
● Need to be quick on your feet
● Ability to work in a confined, crowded, fast-moving space with high noise and light levels
● Food Handlers Certification (Preferred, but not required and willing to obtain in the first 30 days of employment)
Pay: $9.48 per hour + tips
· Tips: on average bussers can make between $65 - $85 a shift

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
