This is a high‑energy, member‑facing role where your personality, passion for fitness, and ability to connect truly matter. Our Personal Trainers provide personalized fitness programs to clients in a positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with policies and procedures of the YMCA.
Schedule:
- Flexible evening and weekend hours, sessions are dependent on clientele/trainer schedule
- No Holidays
- Building hours range from 5am-9pm
Qualifications:
- Trainer Certification: NSCA, ACSM, ACE, NASM, or another approved certification is required.
- Previous one-on-one or small group training is preferred.
- Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to establish realistic fitness goals based upon client abilities and prescribe individual exercise protocol.
- Orientate members in proper and safe use of all Wellness Center equipment & facilities.
- Maintain participant records, usage logs, and other documentation assigned.
