Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality care to adult patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Assess and manage patients with stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac diseases, and orthopedic emergencies.
- Perform IV access, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and emergency interventions.
- Support airway management, procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator care, and other critical emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team while maintaining excellent patient service and team support.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $62/hr
- Travelers: Eligible for stipend
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Active RN license
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong Emergency Department clinical skills
- Experience with IV insertion and PICC/Central Line management
- Ability to perform 12-lead EKGs, telemetry interpretation, cardioversion, and defibrillation
- Experience with procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and tracheostomy care
- Holiday coverage required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
Pay: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
