Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DDS / DMD that speaks Vietnamese to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Operate dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and record management.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA standards and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment conducive to high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Valid DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution with current licensure to practice dentistry.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques.
- Hands-on experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.
