Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and replace automation systems at key points in the production process
- Troubleshoot non-functioning components including sensors, and control components
- Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality
- Periodically report to Operations Manager regarding automation capabilities and status
- Working with vendors specific to the automation line when repairs or malfunctions occur
- Receives and completes daily production needs from floor supervisor
- Holds team working with automation equipment accountable for all OSHA, state, and local safety and environmental standards
Qualifications & Skills (Required):
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite/Office365
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of OSHA regulations (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred)
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related field
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools with emphasis on robotics repairs
- 1-3 years experience in a robotics or mechanical technician role
